Typescript of an interview, photographs, diaries, letters, memoirs, newspaper clippings, and a magazine article. Gividen was interviewed by Winston Erickson for the Oral History of Utah's World War II Veterans on 22 May 2000. Gividen tells about his military experiences including getting shot down. He kept a diary in Switzerland after he recovered from his wounds. He was invited to return to Switzerland in 1982, and his wife kept a diary during their visit. The materials relate to his experiences in 1945 and 1982. Also included is an account of flying in the "Torchy Tess" by Clinton O. Norby of Salt Lake City, Utah, who was the top turret gunner on the airplane.
